This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Manufacturing Asset Maintenance Manager.\nThis role is responsible for maintaining and developing the equipment and systems within the factory in a manner that upholds the quality of the operation, with regards to production output, product quality and cost effectiveness.\nNestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after circa £500 million investment over the last few years. The factory is a Centre of excellence for Nescafé products around the world producing freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee technologies and is at the forefront of coffee innovation globally.\nWe take pride in championing inclusion and diversity. Additionally, we are a headline partner of Diversity and Inclusion in grocery.\nYour impact\nUltimately, you will be responsible for all technical matters on shift across your area of the factory.\nYou will be working to drive improvements in the performance of machinery and assets, technically supporting the shift leader and developing the technical skills within the engineering and operational teams.\nProviding technical support to the Engineering and Shift Management Teams.\nProblem solving and efficient reactive maintenance in breakdown situations.\nDriving the use of break down analysis to continuously improve asset intensity.\nCompletion of planned/scheduled maintenance activities in line with factory KPI’s.\nSupporting the AMM strategy by continually seeking opportunities to revise and improve planned maintenance activities and preventative maintenance plans.\nYour ingredients for success\nThe successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate engineering knowledge across maintenance, industrial services and automation.\nYou will also ideally:\nBe qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds and equivalent time served apprenticeship.\nIdeally multi-skilled but single skills will also be considered.
