All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nAs a Mechanic B, you’ll perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, using your experience to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement. You’ll also help train junior technicians and contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across production and facility equipment\n\nTroubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems\n\nSupport root cause analysis and problem-solving projects\n\nClean, lubricate, and inspect machinery for wear or damage\n\nMonitor and maintain plant systems (bo\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred\n\n5+ years of maintenance experience, including manufacturing\n\nMechanical/electrical trade background or technical school strongly preferred\n\nWorking knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended\n\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift\n\nComfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens\n\nFlexible to work overtime based on business needs\n\nSKILLS:\nComfortable using CMMS and basic software (Oilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.)\n\nUse manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues\n\nAssist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance\n\nTrain and support lower-level technicians\n\nFollow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies\n\nutlook, Excel, Word)\n\nExperience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred\n\nStrong attention to detail and organization\n\nAdvanced math and reading skills\n\nAble to read blueprints and create rough sketches\n\nSkilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment\n\nKnowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical systems\n\nTeam-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated\n\nWilling to learn and adapt to changing tasks\n\n2nd shift employees are entitled to an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.\nPay: $38.25 - $39.75 per hour\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
