If you have any special needs, count on us to adapt your position.\nPosition Summary\nThe Ocean Logistics Operations Specialist ensures the seamless execution of ocean transport activities by supervising shipment operations, optimizing the use of shipment management systems, and fostering strong collaboration with Markets, suppliers, shippers, carriers, and Global Logistics Procurement to deliver timely, reliable stock movements aligned with Nestlé service expectations.\nA day in the life of...\nLead and improve the transport monitoring (Track & Trace) process for ocean shipments\n\nEnsure timely resolution of exceptions and maintain reliable data in the Ocean Platform and Dashboard\n\nCoordinate loading dates with the export team and track containers from loading point through POL\n\nMonitor shipments during ocean transit, identify deviations, update ETAs, and notify Markets when required\n\nReceive arrival notices, follow up on empty container return, and manage COD (change of destination) requests\n\nMonitor platform performance against SLAs, ensuring continuity and supporting operational activities\n\nConduct health checks and contribute to continuous improvement and project initiatives\n\nWhat will make you successful\nTechnical university degree\n\nApproximately 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping lines (import/export operations)\n\nStrong customer service skills\n\nKnowledge of physical logistics\n\nProject management experience within Supply Chain\n\nExperience working with or managing providers\n\nAdvanced English (Spanish is a plus)\n\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.)\n\nWhat we offer\nHere at NBS we care about our Talents and we continuously work to have our teams engaged and our people achieving their best professional performance, without forgetting personal development and work-life balance.
