This role focuses on ensuring employee safety, product safety/quality and asset performance while delivering on time production plan within lines/shift. Proactive partnership with functional areas (Safety, Quality, HR, Supply Chain, etc.) to enable effective execution and delivery of product to customers.\nWe are hiring two Production Supervisors. One for 2nd Shift (2-1030p) and one for 3rd shift (10p-630a). The site operates 24/5 and will schedule production on Saturdays as needed.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMaintains a high standard of quality for the products produced and adheres to company/customer specifications. \nEnsures high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place. \nEnforces adherence to site safety standards and quality regulatory compliance (PPE, LOTO, GMPs, HACCP, allergen control, etc.) \nAligns departmental activities in accordance to production schedules, ensuring effective material and labor utilization. \nOversees sanitation activities within department to ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs and food safety standards \nAddress deviations to standards and support root cause investigations. \nFacilitates the controlling of inventory by properly using SAP system and monitoring the use of SAP by employees. \nRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product. \nMaintains and monitors process control paperwork in accordance with HACCP recommendations, including but not limited to: SPC weight control. \nConfers with other Leads and Supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and across the site as needed. \nEnsures adherence to departmental Standard Operating Procedures. \nSupervises department for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. \nOversees the work activities and professional training and development of direct reports. \nWorks with the Associate Manager and/or Sr Manager to attain goals, carry out strategies, plans, and policies to increase profitability and success of the factory. \nImplements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. \nAssists in developing and carrying out department’s goals, objectives, and systems. \nApproves payroll and amends timecard errors for hourly employees. \nMonitors employee’s adherence to company rules and policies and takes necessary corrective action if needed. \nAssists in reviewing and maintaining crewing levels and optimizing to meet labor cost targets. \nParticipates/leads continuous improvement efforts to improve ways to control labor and supply costs and/or increase production efficiency. \nEnsures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement. \nFollows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). \nReports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management. \nAccomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.\nEducation, Skills, and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or equivalent years of experience preferred \nHigh School Diploma required \nThree (3) years Manufacturing experience required \nTwo (2) year Supervisory experience required \nPrevious experience in a USDA regulated food facility preferred \nAbility to establish trust and credibility with employees \nAbility to influence and promote change on all levels of the organization \nSound technical skills, logical ability, and strong problem analysis and resolutions skills with a strong operational focus \nAbility to demonstrate discretion and business ethics \nAbility to gather and analyze all types of data, identify the appropriate relationships between the different data anticipate business directions and recommend fact based decisions \nPrioritize and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines \nGood interpersonal, as well as strong written and oral communications skills \nAbility to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant and corporate environments \nProficiency in Microsoft applications and other digital solutions \nAbility to thrive in a constantly changing environment \nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus\nSalary: $82,752.12 to $109,760.20 per year\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
