Purely Driven.\nPosition Summary\nOur factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. We also proudly do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Situated just 25 miles from the factory, the city of Lincoln offers convenience to many of our associates who prefer the amenities of larger city living. They embrace the short commute from Lincoln to the quainter city of Crete, where our factory thrives.\nThis position will be on an off shift schedule and will work a 12-2 schedule (working every other weekend).\nAs a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead by example as you foster and engage in a culture of standards that promotes the highest level of safety and quality throughout our processes. Coach and develop a team of technicians who will work across functions to ensure top-notch equipment performance throughout the operation day. Oversee your team’s career development as you help them achieve performance goals in their area of responsibility.\nMonitor and ensure development of team through progression plan adherence. \nOversee performance of team including coaching, issuing corrective actions, issuing recognition, recommending promotions, and monitoring full associate life cycle. \nCoach and develop staff on continuous improvement efforts, TPM, and leadership skills. \nCollaborate with cross functional factory leadership team to ensure end-to-end performance success. \nUtilize problem-solving and tools available to reduce equipment downtime. \nLead projects focused on performance improvement, factory goals, and personal development including sponsorship of continuous improvement efforts within the facility. \nDeliver key performance indicators within assigned area of responsibility in the factory including operational efficiency, downtime, and staffing utilization. \nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment\n1+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment\nSalary: $75,229.20 to $99,782.00 per year\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
