This role is responsible for coaching team members, as well as making sure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and other applicable regulations are adhered to ensure the quality, quantity and integrity of the products produced and distributed.\nWork Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday - with some flexibility for coverage earlier before shift in preparation needed\nJOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBITIES\nProvides daily direction; motivates and develops successful teamsParticipates in the recruitment and training of new associates\nResponsible for all associate related issues for direct reports\nDevelops, coaches and counsels team members on a regular basisCommunicates performance expectations to associates\nCoaches and develops associates, performing regular evaluations of associates through factual performance data together with observations\nEnsures performance (adherence to standard work, attendance, safety, code of conduct, etc.) of direct reports to achieve expected standards in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and CostCompletes evaluations for all new associates (30-60-80 days)\nMonitors associate performance and provides coaching\nCounsels associates and provides corrective actions when needed\nEnsures tasks are completed within set deadlines \n\nResponsible for the training and development of associates\nDrafts and maintains performance documentation in accordance with company policy/procedures\n\nEnsures safety policies and practices are adhered to and work habits support a culture of safety\nImplements procedural/policy changes to enhance department performance\nWorks effectively in a multitask environment and consistently supports the progress of ongoing initiatives\nMonitors productivity to make sure that efficiency, cost and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met on a daily basis\nPlans work schedules and manages overtime - keeps accurate attendance records\nMaintains and updates all applicable records and systems\nFiles proper reports in accordance with company policy/practice (accident, probation, etc.)\nPromotes an environment of teamwork\nWorks with day-to-day activities to support process improvements\nQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE\nPrevious lead/supervision experience preferred (2-3 years)\nExperience in applicable operations preferred (5+ years)\nManufacturing equipment experience, coating equipment preferred\nKnowledge of cGMP’s.
