Our supportive and collaborative environment encourages bold ambitions and continuous learning so that everyone can grow and thrive.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Production Support Specialist is responsible for the material movement within their respective areas.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms the following duties before the material is brought into the production room; verifies the actual material matches the part code and description on the Bill of Material, verifies the actual material matches both barcodes on the pallet, verifies the expiration date of the material, verifies the condition of the packaging of the material, verifies the material is staged to the appropriate staging bin location, and checks that the actual pallet quantity coming into a room matches the quantity on the barcode label.\n\nImmediately issues materials to appropriate job numbers as the material is brought into the production room.\nImmediately informs the Production Supervisor or Coordinator of discrepancies between the barcode quantity and actual quantity.\nRequisitions materials and/or ingredients from Warehouse personnel.\nRuns variance report and compares material used to material staged and provide the information to the supervisor or the lead on a timely basis.\nAssists Production Leads to ensure pallet quantities match tag quantities for any material returning to the Warehouse.\nPrints and monitors bin reports throughout shift to identify problems and resolves them immediately.\nSuggests changes to procedures that may increase the accuracy of inventory.\nAssists leads in ensuring the staging bin inventory is accurate at the end of each production shift.\nAssists in breaks and lunches.\nMaintains area free of debris.\nFollows Nation Pizza Products’ Power jack policy.\nSuggests ways to control labor and supply costs as well as improve processes.\nEnsures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.\nEnsures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed.\nFollows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).\nMaintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place.\nReports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.\nAccomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.\nSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nOne to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to work overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts.\nAbility to speak, write and understand English.\nAbility to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and procedures manuals.\nAbility to write standard information into related paperwork.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds, ounces, grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and temperatures.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Applications.\nAbility to thrive in a constantly changing environment.\nChampion a safe work environment by proactively identifying and reporting potential hazards. • Gain valuable experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), enhancing your skills in quality, safety, and compliance • Contribute continuous improvement ideas and suggestions to improve operational efficiency, safety, and quality. • Drive sustainability by promoting resource efficiency and actively participating in recycling and pollution prevention initiatives. • Perform other duties as assigned.\nWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:\nPay rate is $24.75/hour with an additional shift premium for 2nd shift of $0.75/hour and 3rd shift of $1.25/hour.\nGreat benefits including:\n401k retirement available with company contribution\nPaid Time Off • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)\nInsurance eligibility begins on 31st day of employment • Paid Holidays\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING:\nHigh school diploma or GED (preferred).\nEnglish proficiency (preferred).\n6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).\n\nYOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU:\nDependable\nStrong work ethic\nComfortable with physical labor\nAttention to detail\nAdaptable\nPractices good teamwork\nMindful of safety practices\nComfortable working with machinery\nTroubleshoots and problem-solves\nExcited to join a productive, safety-minded team\n\nPay: $24.75 per hour\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
