With its picturesque Great Lakes waterfront, beautiful beaches, ski resorts, vineyards, and boutique wineries, our associates take great pride in calling Dunkirk their home. Since its establishment in 1971, the factory has undergone several expansions to accommodate the growing production of beloved household brands such as Pro Plan®, Beggin®, T-Bonz®, and Busy®. Our factory also works to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.\nAs the Bacteriologist, you will be responsible for managing routine microbiological evaluations of the finished product and the factory production environment. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, review and compliance to the factory’s Finished Product Release Program and the Pathogen Monitoring Program. You will support aspects of the HACCP food safety program including verification activities, documentation, and recordkeeping.\nFinished product testing and release\nInvolved with the factory’s Pathogen Monitoring Program, including testing, verification activities, corrective actions\nEnsures compliance with the Hazard analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Program in the factory\nResponsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the cleaning, verification and calibration and lab inventory\nWork as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities and uphold Safety and Quality as core values.\n**Must be open to working weekdays, evenings, and weekends.**\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma\n1+ years of quality assurance in a manufacturing, laboratory, production, warehouse, military, or related environment\nSalary: $44,038.80 to $63,464.00 per year\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
