Purely Driven.\nPosition Summary\nOne of our newest factories, located along the Virginia border, breathes new life into a former brewery, creating an innovative and technologically advanced pet food manufacturing facility. We have transformed the existing structure in Rockingham County to produce leading dry dog and cat food brands, including Purina Pro Plan®, Purina ONE®, and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets®. With a strong focus on sustainability and safety, this facility is committed to doing our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Together, we create a brighter future for pets and our community.\nAs the Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring proper functioning of quality operations. You will be responsible for ingredient management, receiving, formulation, and product quality and safety. You will provide technical support for the factory regarding all quality aspects.\nLead operational support and improvement activities for the QA stream\nOversee process to ensure finished product specifications are maintained and updated\nCollaborate with operations group and provide coaching and training for factory associates\nServe as the main point of contact and support for quality incidents at the factory\nLead and support the hold management process, status control, and final disposition\nComplete quality checks and drive compliance to the QMS\nProvide support and expertise for the factory formulation process\nMaintain finished product reference samples and photo standards\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent \n1+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment and/or food manufacturing environment\nSalary: $44,038.80 to $63,464.00 per year\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
