Responsible for end-to-end purchasing execution in support of factory operations, ensuring materials are procured on time, at best cost, and in compliance with Nestlé policies.\nThis position operates at the intersection of Finance, Procurement, and Maintenance/Engineering, ensuring accurate financial processes while maintaining uninterrupted supply to the factory.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReview and validate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for completeness and compliance\nCreate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for indirect materials and services\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely availability of required parts \nEnsure accurate PO creation, goods receipts, and invoice alignment to support financial reporting\nMonitor and follow up on open and overdue POs, escalating risks to operations\nResolve invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, and PO errors to maintain clean financials\nAct as the primary liaison between factory teams and suppliers\nMaintain purchasing data integrity within SAP / Ariba systems\nMonitor procurement KPIs (e.g., blocked invoices, overdue POs)\nEnsure compliance with Nestlé procurement policies and audit standards \nIdentify opportunities for cost control and process improvement \nBackup Tech Stores Attendant:Including issuing and receiving parts, operating Material Handling Equipment, and potentially working an off-shift or weekend on occasion.\nTypical schedule is Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm \n\nREQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:\nAssociates Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related field preferred\nExperience in manufacturing, procurement, or maintenance preferred\nREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:\nAbility to work well with others as well as independently \nProfessional, high ethical standards and a positive cooperative attitude \nStrong analytical organizational, administrative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills \nStrong written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers \nAbility to proactively analyze and identify cost and process improvements \nExperience with mechanical parts, and/or purchasing is desired\nExperience working with SAP\nExperience in Microsoft Office\nStrong Excel and data analysis capabilities\nIt is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.\nTo our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestlé.
