Support businesses in pipeline or operational strategies definitions.\nImplement and document plans to develop people by providing opportunities to grow in the organization, thru short-term missions and trainings, leveraging from all the opportunities we have in Nestle.\nDrive and provide technical guidance on products, ingredients, processing parameters and equipment to team members and colleagues.\nDrive innovative solutions as needed during project development.\nBring and design alternatives, proposals, when the original idea can’t be achieved for technical or regulatory reasons.\nEnsure team is providing and receiving the appropriate service/support of other Dept./ stakeholders.\nEnsure adequate protection strategies, specially -but not limited to- when the development or final manufacturing process will take place in a third party company, coman (i.e. intellectual property protection, non-disclosure agreements NDA, etc.)\nEnsure that goals are achieved.\nMaintain/strengthen high quality of core competency within the group and with pilot plant and factories.\nDevelop short, mid and long-term plans to support future innovation on new concepts and technologies.\nInvestigate and evaluate new technologies, concepts, processes, products or equipment, and develop applications of findings to new uses.\nCommunicate progress, both orally and written, to all levels of Nestlé Management.\nCreate synergies through effective networking with all relevant R&D Units, business partners, markets, SBUs, Head Office, external partners.\nComply with Nestlé Integrated Management Systems and all company policies and procedures.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nB.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical or related plus 9 years minimum of related experience in food industry, or a PhD in a related field and 6 years experience.\nEXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS\nProven capability to lead a team and to motivate people.\nUnderstanding of operational set-up categories.\nAbility to manage resources and budget requirements (i.e. CAPEX, cost evaluation, etc.)\nIn-depth knowledge of own area of responsibility.\nAbility to create a climate of mutual trust and need for success, fostering a positive culture for inclusion and diversity.\nGood interpersonal/teamwork skills and a good sense of business/technical interrelationships\nAvailability to travel to different locations and manufacturing sites (external or internal) to lead and monitor the development process.\nGood written, oral communication and presentation skills.\nNestlé Corporate Business Principles\nKnowledge in food science and technology\nGood knowledge of RTD categories and I&R pipelines\nStrong written and oral communication skills (including presentations)\nGood interpersonal/teamwork skills and a good sense of business/technical inter-relationship\nSalary: $170,000.00 to $240,000.00 per year\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
