We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands-product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. That’s why we are doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.\nAs a Staff Engineer, you will oversee capital projects from end to end, including concept, scope, estimate, cost, resources and execution. You will challenge yourself to lead the design and implementation of innovative projects with your integrity, passion and expertise to help us drive factory performance. Be the voice of your team as you work collaboratively with associates and contractors to successfully manage and deliver key projects.\nParticipate in the development, implementation and coordination of the capital budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilities\nPrepare estimates, evaluate bids, award contracts and issue all documents and drawings for construction on assigned projects\nCreate concepts and designs in accordance with engineering safety, production, sanitary and budgetary procedures and specifications\nDevelop project plans, schedules and budgets; monitor progress against milestones and deliverables, and identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions\nDirect the installation and integration of new equipment as well as modifications and overhauls of existing equipment for assigned projects\nMonitor outside contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity and budgeting\nChampion Nestlé safety, health, quality and environmental objectives and foster a work environment that enables our operations to perform among the safest companies in the marketplace\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field \n2+ years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment \nOther\n1+ year of technical project management experience preferred\nThe approximate pay range for this position is $84,000 to $108,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
