Join us in this tight-knit community, where we create nutritious and wholesome food for pets, and be part of one of the fastest growing businesses in pet care.\nAs a CDL Truck Driver for our Hereford plant, you will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, as well as maintaining truck cleanliness per company standard. You will communicate with team members at each facility to coordinate movement of product and/or materials, and will work cohesively and professionally with your team members.\nTransfer product between facilities in Friona and Amarillo, and transfer trailers to Penske for preventative maintenance.\nAssist with trailer weekly inventory.\nTransfer disposals to landfill.\nReport any issues with leased and owned equipment, keeping record of all driving movements and turning them in weekly.\nMaintain CDL license according to DOT regulations.\nCheck to make sure all paperwork/seals are placed correctly at the dock/gate before leaving a facility with a loaded trailer.\nMake sure all safety protocol is being followed such as air locks and wheel chalks, and follow the proper safety protocol for backing up into docks.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nClass A CDL License along with a current D.O.T medical card\nMust have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures\nPay: $21.79 - $21.79 per hour\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
