This position plays a crucial role in the movement of materials, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving, and maintaining a well-organized work environment. The Warehouse II Operator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and receives daily direction and guidance\nShift: 2nd\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.\nLoad and unload trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.\nConduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.\nMaintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems.\nOrganize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.\nCollaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.\nProvide updates, report issues, and contribute to a positive work environment.\nPick, pack, and stage materials accurately for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.\nPerform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Education Requirements\n1(+) years’ experience in Manufacturing and or Warehousing \nAbility to obtain valid forklift operator certification\nProven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting.\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.\nBasic mathematical skills.
