Acting as the primary point person on the floor for the team, they oversee and guide workflow, troubleshoot issues, and provide support and training to team members to help achieve department goals and site KPIs. The incumbent temporarily leads the department in the absence of a Supervisor/Manager, providing them with timely business updates, including challenges and successes amongst the team. Additionally, the Warehouse IV collaborates with other teams throughout the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. The Warehouse IV Operator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and receives daily direction and guidance.\nShift: Night Shift (7:00p-7:30a)\nSchedule: 3/2/2\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate forklifts and other advanced material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.\nVerifies incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.\nConduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.\nMaintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems.\nOrganize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.\nCollaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.\nProvide updates, report issues, and contribute to a positive work environment.\nCollaborate with team members to accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.\nAct as an on-the-job trainer and deliver essential training to associates for specific job functions. \nPerform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Education Requirements\n3 + years’ experience preferred\nAbility to obtain valid forklift operator certification\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.\nBasic mathematical skills.
