This role is pivotal to the success of our new Certinia implementation for Professional Services within our Salesforce org. The ideal candidate will be involved from the ground up - starting from implementation through post-go-live enhancements - and will serve as a key technical resource throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplementation Phase\nActively participate in the end-to-end implementation of Certinia Professional Services Automation (PSA) and related modules on the Salesforce platform.\nCollaborate with implementation partners, business stakeholders, and functional consultants to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nPerform system configuration, including but not limited to: project management, resource management, time & expense, billing, and revenue recognition modules within Certinia.\nDesign and develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce development tools to extend Certinia functionality.\nBuild and manage data migration strategies, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into the new Certinia instance.\nDevelop and execute integration solutions between Certinia and other internal/external systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and defect resolution during the implementation cycle.\nPost Go-Live & Ongoing Operations\nProvide post-go-live support, including bug fixes, performance tuning, and user support during the stabilization period.\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities, gathering user feedback, and delivering iterative releases.\nPerform ongoing Salesforce and Certinia administration, including user management, security settings, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and page layouts.\nManage release and deployment processes using tools such as Salesforce Change Sets, SFDX, Copado, or similar CI/CD tools.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and runbooks.\nMonitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability and scalability.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical Skills\n Salesforce Development: Strong proficiency in Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, Scheduled, Queueable), SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).\nSalesforce Administration: Expert-level knowledge of declarative tools - Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Custom Objects/Fields, Record Types, Page Layouts, and Lightning App Builder.\nCertinia Modules: Hands-on experience with Certinia PSA (Projects, Resource Management, Timecards, Expenses, Billing, Revenue Recognition). Experience with Certinia Financial Management (FM) or ERP modules is a plus.\nIntegration: Experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Apps, Named Credentials, Platform Events, and middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or similar).\nData Management: Proficiency with data migration and management tools such as Data Loader, Dataflow, or Informatica.\nDeployment & DevOps: Familiarity with SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, or similar).\nReporting & Analytics: Ability to build complex Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and leverage Certinia's native reporting capabilities.\nFunctional Knowledge\nStrong understanding of Professional Services business processes - project lifecycle, resource planning, time tracking, billing models (T&M, Fixed Price, Milestone-based), and revenue recognition principles.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce security model - OWD, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Field-Level Security.\nSoft Skills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong communication skills -
