The ideal candidate is systems-focused, analytical and creative, and driven to deliver measurable performance improvements at scale.\nJob Requirements\nDesign and execute performance benchmarks/workloads; measure, analyze, interpret, and socialize results to identify improvement opportunities.\nApply AI-assisted performance engineering techniques and develop tools (e.g., performance analysis, automated regression triage) to accelerate bottleneck analysis and guide optimization priorities.\nEvaluate design alternatives and prototype performance enhancements across platforms and distributed components.\nCollect and analyze customer experience and usage patterns; prepare findings and recommendations for engineering and management.\nProficiency with scripting and automation (Python, shell; Perl acceptable), ansible playbooks and comfort working with notebooks (e.g., Jupyter).\nHand on experience with performance analysis, modeling techniques, benchmarking, and workload characterization\nStrong background in Linux (such as RHEL or Ubuntu) administration.\nUnderstanding of networking protocols and storage management is a plus.\nEducation\nIC - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.\nCompensation:\nThe target salary range for this position is 147,900 - 220,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
