By maintaining relations with customers and users, you will ensure our platform meets their expectations by maintaining the highest standards for tools, resources, and documentation. Your role will be essential in establishing our platform as a key tool in the network security software and DevOps communities.\nSpecifically, you will:\nDrive customer and community engagement by creating high-quality content such as blog posts, technical articles, and video tutorials to educate and inspire NetBird customers and users.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers and users, providing support and guidance to help them succeed with NetBird.\n\nRepresent NetBird at industry conferences and developer-focused events, delivering presentations, webinars, and talks to showcase its capabilities and success stories.\n\nTrack and analyze key metrics related to users engagement, community growth, and support effectiveness to inform strategies.\n\nParticipate in technical discussions with customers, providing expertise and insights to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.\n\nWhat we are looking for\nWe’re searching for someone with the following experience and skills:\nMust-Haves\n3+ years of professional experience with a technical background in DevOps or Network Engineering, including hands-on development experience as a software engineer.\n\nProven track record of building engaged developer communities, with involvement in developer events as a speaker or organizer.\n\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation, system management, or integration tasks.\n\nExcellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to create compelling technical content, including public speaking, writing, and live demos.\n\nPrior experience contributing to and collaborating with open source projects and communities.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\n\nWillingness and ability to travel throughout Europe and North America for events and engagements.\n\nProficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.\n\nNice-to-Haves\nA strong interest in secure networking solutions and cloud-native architectures.\n\nExperience with production technologies that align with NetBird’s platform, such as REST/gRPC APIs or Kubernetes.\n\nWhat’s in for you\nWe know that happy and supported team members build the best products.\nThat’s why we offer:\nComprehensive compensation package: Receive a competitive base salary and equity incentives.\n\nHybrid work environment: Enjoy the flexibility of working both from our centrally located Berlin office and remotely.\n\nDiverse and collaborative team: Join a team that values fast, clean shipping and works together to achieve great results.\n\nHigh level of independence: Focus on outcomes, not the appearance of work.
