You combine technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset to understand customer needs, design the right solution, and drive decisions that result in signed contracts. You act as the primary point of contact throughout the buying process and ensure customers clearly see the value of NetBird in their environment.\nYou will:\nLead customer engagements from initial discovery through deal closure and onboarding.\n\nOwn the technical and commercial aspects of customer conversations.\n\nUnderstand customer infrastructure, security requirements, and business objectives.\n\nDesign and present tailored NetBird architectures aligned with customer needs.\n\nRun demos, trials, pilots, and proofs of concept (PoCs) that support purchasing decisions.\n\nAddress technical questions and objections that impact deal progression.\n\nGuide customers through solution scope, pricing context, and deployment considerations.\n\nMaintain momentum and clarity throughout the evaluation and decision-making process.\n\nSupport early adoption to ensure fast time-to-value and long-term customer success.\n\nAct as a feedback channel between customers and Product & Engineering.\n\nCreate and refine solution demos, reference architectures, and playbooks.\n\nIf you enjoy turning complex infrastructure problems into clean, working solutions for customers, this role is for you.\nWhat we are looking for\nWe’re looking for a Solutions Engineer who is deeply technical, customer-focused, and excited about building secure networking solutions.\nMust-Haves\n3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, DevOps, or similar customer-facing technical role.\n\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, tunneling, firewalls, access control).\n\nExperience working with cloud or hybrid infrastructure.\n\nAbility to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions.\n\nComfortable running demos, trials, and PoCs with real customers.\n\nStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nExperience working in a fast-paced B2B or SaaS environment.\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering.\n\nFluent in English.\n\nNice-to-Haves\nFamiliarity with open source software or developer-focused tools.\n\nExperience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\nExperience designing or documenting network architectures.\n\nStartup or scale-up experience\n\nWhat’s in for you\nWe know that happy and supported team members build the best products.
