When a wrecker's down, a job doesn't get done - so the person who keeps this fleet running is one of the most important people in the company. We're looking for someone who takes pride in that, works clean, and wants to actually fix equipment, not just keep it limping.\nIf you like variety, you'll get it here: light-duty rigs, heavy wreckers, tractors, trailers, and support vehicles - gas and diesel, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air. No two days the same.\nWhat you'll do:\nPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on tow trucks, tractors, trailers, and support vehicles\nDiagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air system issues\nService diesel and gasoline engines\nHandle brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs\nConduct DOT inspections and keep the fleet compliant\nRespond to breakdowns and make emergency repairs when the call comes\nKeep accurate service and repair records\nKeep your shop and work areas clean and safe\nWhat we're looking for:\n5+ years as a fleet, diesel, or heavy-duty mechanic preferred\nHands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks or towing equipment a strong plus\nSharp troubleshooting and diagnostic skills - you find the root cause, not just the symptom\nWorking knowledge of DOT regulations and inspections\nThe ability to work independently and manage your own workload\nA valid driver's license (CDL a plus)\nSchedule:\nFull-time, Monday - Friday\nWhat we offer:\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience \nOvertime available\nmedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nVoluntary insurances such as short term, long term, and life insurance\nA growing company where skilled techs move up\nPTO and company paid holidays\nIf you can diagnose it, fix it, and take pride in the work, we want to talk to you.
