statements.\nDesign and implement database schemas based on application requirements.\nCreate and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent tools.\nDevelop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, or other BI tools.\nMonitor database health, storage, and performance.\nPerform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.\nSupport production databases and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.\nImplement indexing strategies and partitioning for large databases.\nPerform database migrations between environments.\nEnsure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards.\nCollaborate with application developers to improve database design and application performance.\nMaintain database documentation, deployment scripts, and technical specifications.\nParticipate in code reviews and database release management.\nProvide production support and root cause analysis for database-related issues.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).\nStrong experience with MySQL (5.7/8.x or Aurora MySQL).\nAdvanced SQL programming.\nStored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers.\nQuery optimization and execution plan analysis.\nIndexing strategies and performance tuning.\nDatabase normalization and schema design.\nBackup and recovery strategies.\nDatabase security and permission management.\nSQL Server Agent Jobs.\nSSIS development.\nSSRS or Power BI reporting.\nData migration and ETL development.\nExperience working with large transactional databases.\nPreferred Skills\nAzure SQL Database, VM or AWS RDS/Aurora.\nPowerShell scripting.\nMongoDB or PostgreSQL exposure.\nExperience with Moodle or LMS databases.\nKnowledge of Dynamics 365, HubSpot, or Marketo integrations.\nCI/CD pipelines for database deployments.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n8-15+ years of experience in SQL Server and MySQL database development.\nMicrosoft or MySQL certifications are an advantage.\nSoft Skills\nStrong
