We deliver IT Transformation and Delivery services to some of the most well-known organisations in the UK and can count 18% of the FTSE 100 as clients, delivering services across several different sectors.\nNetcompany have ambitious growth plans for the next few years and will continue to win and deliver multi-million-pound projects, offering a fantastic opportunity for all members of staff to grow with us and carve out a challenging, successful and rewarding career\n As an Azure Solution Architect, you will work closely with the Project Manager, clients and technical delivery teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions, define project scope and develop detailed architectural designs.\nYou will take ownership of the technical architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient and aligned with business and technical requirements.\nYou will be responsible for leading client workshops, defining Azure cloud strategies, producing technical design documentation and overseeing the delivery of complex cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects.\nThe role requires demonstrable experience in Azure architecture, infrastructure engineering and cloud migration, ideally within a complex, multi-disciplinary and multi-supplier environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAct as the senior technical authority for Azure-focused projects and programmes, providing architectural direction and technical leadership.\nLead client workshops to understand business requirements, identify technical challenges and develop appropriate Azure-based solutions.\nDesign and implement Azure cloud architectures, covering IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, identity and infrastructure services.\nProduce end-to-end technical architecture and design documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and migration strategies.\nDefine current and target-state architectures, develop cloud migration approaches and break down technical requirements into deliverable tasks for engineering teams.\nLead cloud migration and infrastructure transformation activities, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, availability and scalability requirements.\nDesign holistic service solutions that consider not only technology but also service support, operational management, maintenance and ongoing service delivery.\nProvide technical coordination across multiple engineering and delivery teams, ensuring clear ownership, responsibilities and alignment.\nWork closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Senior Management and Service Acceptance teams to ensure architectural governance and compliance.\nSupport the full project lifecycle, from initial discovery and architecture through implementation, transition and decommissioning.\nWork within different delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines and quality standards.\n Strong and demonstrable experience working as a Solution Architect or Cloud Architect, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.\nExtensive experience designing and delivering Azure cloud solutions, including complex cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects.\nStrong understanding of Azure architecture principles, best practices and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.\nHands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and platform services, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage and compute.\nExtensive experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.\nExperience designing and delivering secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures.\nStrong knowledge of Azure networking, identity and access management, security and monitoring.\nExperience working within multi-vendor and multi-supplier environments, coordinating technical delivery across different teams.\nExperience working closely with application development and infrastructure engineering teams to establish and support cloud platforms.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and client workshops.\nExcellent technical documentation skills, including the production and management of architectural designs and technical specifications.\nUnderstanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.\n Netcompany Academy\nThrough our Netcompany Academy, we offer a diverse range of courses, seminars and certifications carefully curated to support your development.
