They will perform liaison between technical SMEs and business stakeholders, providing guidance on the customer journey, to ensure that:\nBusiness goals are converted into a suitable project framework.\nRequirements are robustly defined, in a manner that allows suppliers to be engaged appropriately.\nTechnical solutions align with customer repeatable delivery patterns.\nDesign documentation is produced to a high standard and, covers the end-to-end service.\nTechnical project delivery is overseen by and coordinated across multiple technical disciplines.\nServices are BAU-ready before they are handed to Operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nKnowledge of working in a Manufacturing Environment.\nCollaborating with project management teams to interpret business needs and establish project boundaries that will inform the necessary technical specifications.\nProduction of High Level and Low Level design documentation.\nProducing of holistic service designs, which not only cover technology aspects, but which also address service support, management and maintenance needs.\nExperience across full project lifecycle, from initiation to decommissioning.\nAbility to articulate technical project delivery activities and translate these into low-level tasks, for assignment to engineering teams.\nUnderstanding of business analysis methods.\nPresenting technical architecture solutions to the end customer.\nAbility to oversee the technical delivery of projects to the project manager and engineering team.\nTechnical Skills\nWindows Server 2016/2019/2022\nWindows 10/11, SCOM and SCCM\nKnowledge of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022\nKnowledge of SUSE/Red Hat Linux 7/8/9\nKnowledge of NAS/SAN technologies\nKnowledge of Containerisation technologies (Kubernetes/Docker/PodMan etc)\nClient and client server applications\nGeneral networking knowledge\nKnowledge of public cloud platforms an advantage, but not essential\nKnowledge of Oracle RDBMS also an advantage, but not essential\nWould suit an experienced L2/L3 engineer looking to move into Architecture\nKnowledge of a broad range of technology solutions\nExperience of Network, Security and Storage technology solutions.\nAppreciation and understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure\nGood documentation skills - deployment guides, Low Level Designs etc\nApplication integration and migrations\nSC Cleared or eligible\n Netcompany Academy\nThrough our Netcompany Academy, we offer a diverse range of courses, seminars and certifications carefully curated to support your development.
