They will perform liaison between technical SMEs and business stakeholders, providing guidance on the customer journey, to ensure that:\nBusiness goals are converted into a suitable project framework.\nRequirements are robustly defined, in a manner that allows suppliers to be engaged appropriately.\nTechnical solutions align with enterprise IT strategy.\nDesign collateral is always produced to a high standard, covers the end-to-end service and is capable of assurance by the Architecture Governance function.\nDelivery is coordinated across multiple technical disciplines.\nServices are BAU-ready before they are handed to Operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nActing as the senior technology authority for a specific project or programme, ideally within in a Manufacturing Environment.\nCollaborating with project management teams to interpret business needs and establish project boundaries that will inform the necessary technical specifications.\nDemonstrable experience in the production of technical design documentation, working within a multi-supplier environment, planning, and delivering quality results within agreed time-scales.\nProducing holistic service designs, which not only cover technology aspects, but which also address service support, management and maintenance needs.\nExperience across full project lifecycle, from initiation to decommissioning.\nAbility to model current, target and transition states, and define migration methods between these. Ability to decompose these into low-level tasks, for assignment to engineering teams.\nUnderstanding of business analysis methods.\nProvision of technical coordination across multiple teams and assignment of roles and responsibilities\nLiaising with business governance functions e.g. Senior Management, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Service Acceptance etc.\nPresenting complex technical architecture solutions to the end customer.\nAbility to oversee the technical delivery of projects to the project manager and engineering team..\nTechnical Skills\nWindows Server 2016/2019/2022\nSQL Server 2016/2019/2022\nSUSE/Red Hat Linux 7/8/9\nNAS/SAN technologies\nWindows 10/11, SCOM and SCCM\nClient and client server applications\nGeneral networking knowledge\nKnowledge of public cloud platforms an advantage, but not essential\nKnowledge of Oracle RDBMS and MySQL also an advantage, but not essential\nKnowledge of Containerisation technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, PodMan etc)\nKnowledge of a broad range of technology solutions, within complex enterprises.\nExperience of Network, Security and Storage technology solutions.\nAppreciation and understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure\nApplication integration, migration and business transformation.\nTOGAF an advantage, but not essential\nService architecture, business analysis and service management awareness\nSC Cleared or eligible\n Netcompany Academy\nThrough our Netcompany Academy, we offer a diverse range of courses, seminars and certifications carefully curated to support your development.
