The role involves supporting enterprise-scale application delivery environments, troubleshooting network and application connectivity issues, handling L2 escalations, automation, and working with global teams in a Follow-the-Sun operations model.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Manage and support F5 BIG-IP and A10 Thunder Load Balancers in a large enterprise environment.\n\n- Provide L2 support and troubleshooting for load-balancer, network connectivity, and application delivery issues.\n\n- Support internal and external client-facing application flows across distributed environments.\n\n- Perform fault analysis, incident resolution, failure avoidance, and root-cause analysis.\n\n- Troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and application connectivity.\n\n- Support a high number of devices and application flows while maintaining service availability and performance.\n\n- Work with application delivery and management platforms for configuration, deployment, monitoring, and service management.\n\n- Handle production incidents, outages, escalations, and service requests in a high-pressure environment.\n\n- Develop automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.\n\n- Contribute to process improvements, operational automation, and standardization.\n\n- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.\n\n- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, network teams, and global SMEs.\n\n- Participate in a global Follow-the-Sun support model and work effectively with geographically distributed teams.\n\n- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and techniques related to application delivery, networking, automation, and infrastructure.\n\nTechnical Skills : \n\n- 5+ years of experience in Load Balancer / Application Delivery environments.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP and A10 Thunder.\n\n- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.\n\n- Experience with Unix/Linux system administration.\n\n- Experience with at least one automation/programming technology : Python, Ansible, Perl, PowerShell, or C#.\n\nSoft Skills : \n\n- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\n\n- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure production environment.\n\n- Good communication skills with global teams.\n\n- Strong ownership and accountability for production issues.\n\nSkills\nTCP/IP, Linux, F5 Application, Load Balancing Tools, Network Load Balancing, Python, Ansible, Scripting","description_format":"text","description_chars":2640,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T13:06:44Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.896,"p_room":1,"age_days":4,"expected_fill_days":31,"reasons":["seen:4","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-29T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/netconnectglobal-load-balancer-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/netconnectglobal-load-balancer-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-30T04:24:31Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3045,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1955,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z"}}}
