The role involves working with Chromium source code, deep modification for specific business needs, performance optimization and setting up the infrastructure for regular upstream updates.\n\n Responsibilities \n\n- Build clean Chromium from scratch for Windows, macOS and Linux.\n\n - Modify Chromium source: strip Google telemetry, customize the network stack, control fingerprint generation algorithms. \n\n- Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated browser builds and testing. \n\n- Regularly port security patches and new releases from the main Chromium branch (upstream updates). \n\n- Profile, find and fix memory leaks, optimize performance.\n\n Requirements \n\n- 3+ years of commercial C++ development (C++17/20).\n\n - Hands-on experience with Chromium, CEF or WebKit architecture and source code. \n\n- Deep understanding of multi-process browser architecture: IPC, sandbox. \n\n- Confident with depot_tools, GN, Ninja. \n\n- Experience with large monorepos in Git, complex merge/rebase conflicts.\n\n -
