This position will be based in our Philippines office and report to the P2P Manager based in Manila. The two P2P supervisors each own a distinct business area giving each dedicated leader deep familiarity with their stakeholders’ workflows, seasonality and priorities, while maintaining one consistent operating model across the team.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations across transaction processing, reporting, Month-end Close, and Reconciliations. He or she will have a solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts payable workflows, an ability to partner with technical teams and build strong cross-regional and cross-functional relationships, a deep curiosity and passion for automation and process improvements, and the ability to see the broader picture while staying hands-on with the details to contribute to the team’s goals.\nResponsibilities:\nNetflix Culture Ambassador\nBe a Netflix Culture Ambassador by role modeling our values, managing cultural updates, and facilitating team discussions\n\nTeam Management and Development:\nDrive talent development through team building, training, coaching, and performance feedback\n\nAct as the first point of contact for process queries and clarifications\n\nConduct daily huddles and one-on-one meetings\n\nMonitor KPIs and SLAs, addressing issues to enhance performance\n\nManage staff leaves, coverage, overtime, training, and performance evaluations\n\nEnsure team alignment during periods of change and ambiguity, providing stability and clear direction\n\nPartner with the other P2P supervisor and the P2P manager to maintain a consistent operating model, shared standards and coverage continuity across all business areas\n\nOperational & Reporting Oversight, Compliance:\nAct as a point of escalation for operational issues within your business area\n\nResolve discrepancies and errors in the P2P process\n\nDevelop and implement solutions to prevent future issues\n\nOversee transaction processing and ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements\n\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities\n\nFoster a culture of collaboration and innovation\n\nPerformance Monitoring:\nReview daily metrics and track employee performance\n\nAnalyze performance data to identify operational inefficiencies\n\nDevelop targeted training programs to address skill gaps\n\nContinuously evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives\n\nMonitor aging reports and resolve complex issues\n\nStrategic Initiatives & Business Partner Liaison:\nServe as dedicated liaison for your business area’s BP stakeholders, partnering directly with BP leaders and cross-functional partners\n\nPartner closely with Business Partners (BPs) to identify and implement process improvement and standardization initiatives, both within your business area and across the broader P2P team\n\nDiscuss policies, procedures, and internal controls with leadership\n\nAssist with special projects, including system upgrades and SOP standardization\n\nIdentify operational and compliance risks and implement controls\n\nLead the implementation of new P2P workflows to enhance automation and efficiency\n\nSkills Required:\nExperience managing a dynamic team in a global, shared services environment\n\nComprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance\n\nStrong customer focus with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills\n\nProficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Workday experience preferred)\n\nExperience with ticketing tools like FreshDesk or Zendesk is a plus\n\nForward-thinking with a focus on process improvements\n\nFluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus\n\nEducation and Experience:\nBackground in Accounting or Finance\n\n5+ years of relevant functional experience\n\n3+ years of people management experience\n\nDegree in a relevant field of study\n\nInclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
