Come be a part of what’s next.\nAbout the Role\nNetflix's Creative Innovation team works at the intersection of storytelling and emerging technology, shaping how solutions like Generative AI influence production practices across the Studio and the broader industry. This role sits at the center of that work.\nYou will own the operational backbone of that work: scoping engagements, building budgets, aligning stakeholders, and communicating with vendors so that every project run through this program has the same rigor and discipline as any other production, even while the work itself is experimental. You'll be the first point of contact for productions and vendors alike, translating what's technically possible into a clear plan a title can actually execute against, and you'll keep leadership and stakeholders informed with clean, credible reporting on status, risk, and progress.\nThis is a role for someone who is energized by operational ownership in ambiguous territory: comfortable quickly grasping new and emerging technologies, credible with executives, creators, and vendors, and able to bring order to work that, by nature, doesn't have a template yet.\nKey Responsibilities\nHelp scope and stand up new engagements. Define budgets, timelines, and stakeholder alignment at kickoff so each project starts with a clear plan.\nServe as the primary point of contact for engaged productions. Keep title managers and filmmakers informed on scope, timeline, and what this program's involvement means for their production, from kickoff through wrap.\nCommunicate with and project manage vendors. Assist in setting expectations, conduct recurring check-ins, monitor pacing and quality, and identify opportunities for continued development or maturity graduation.\nPartner with leadership on project sourcing. Evaluate candidate titles, manage identified project risk, compare investment opportunities, and justify selections against program criteria.\nHandle the legal and contracting logistics of each engagement. Confirm that creator agreements and vendor paperwork are completed before funded work begins.\nReport on program status and performance. Synthesize feedback and sentiment gathered across regions into clear updates for stakeholders and senior leadership.\nProduce the materials that document the program's work. Build project recaps, summaries, and presentations for productions and leadership.\nWhat We're Looking For\n6+ years of experience in production coordination or production management, with ownership of budgets, timelines, and status tracking across multiple concurrent projects.\nExperience coordinating with external vendors, including setting expectations and identifying issues early.\nComfortable quickly grasping and speaking credibly about new and emerging creative technologies, even without prior specialized expertise, and translating capabilities and limitations into practical rollout plans.\nClear, direct communicator who can flex naturally between executives, creators, and vendors.\nComfortable operating within an innovation space, pivoting quickly, and living comfortably with ambiguity.\nStrong writing and presentation skills, including deck building and narrative synthesis.\nHigh integrity and discretion with sensitive creator, vendor, and internal information.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with virtual production, volumetric capture, or VFX workflows.\nExisting familiarity with the generative AI landscape (image, video, audio) and how productions evaluate and adopt these tools.\nExposure to vendor or technology partner evaluation frameworks.\nExperience working across international productions or regional teams.\nGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $165,000.00 - $265,000.00.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
