strong experience in testing cloud-managed networking solutions, with a combination of networking, AWS/cloud, REST APIs, Python automation, TypeScript/Playwright and end-to-end system testing.\nThis role requires someone who can understand and validate the complete solution across:\nNetwork Device → LAN/WAN → Internet → AWS Cloud → Cloud Services/APIs → Database → Web/Mobile Application\nThe candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting issues across both the networking and cloud/application layers.\nKey Responsibilities\nCloud Network Management Testing\nOwn QA for a cloud-based network management platform from requirements through production.\n\nTest end-to-end workflows for cloud-managed Access Points, Switches, Routers and other network devices.\n\nValidate device onboarding, discovery, provisioning and configuration.\n\nTest device-to-cloud communication and cloud-to-device operations.\n\nValidate configuration synchronization between cloud and network devices.\n\nTest device monitoring, health status, statistics, alerts and notifications.\n\nValidate firmware/software upgrade workflows.\n\nTest remote configuration and management capabilities.\n\nValidate device connectivity, disconnect/reconnect and recovery scenarios.\n\nTest multi-device, multi-site and large-scale network management scenarios.\n\nValidate behavior under network failures, latency, packet loss and intermittent connectivity.\n\nTest cloud-managed networking workflows across different network topologies and environments.\n\nTest Planning & Quality Ownership\nReview requirements, user stories, functional specifications and technical designs.\n\nReview ERDs and data models to understand relationships, dependencies and data flows.\n\nParticipate in architecture and design reviews from a QA perspective.\n\nIdentify functional, integration, data, networking and cloud risks.\n\nDevelop test strategy, test plans, test scenarios and test cases.\n\nDefine test scope, coverage, environments, dependencies and execution timelines.\n\nCreate positive, negative, boundary, failure-recovery and end-to-end scenarios.\n\nMaintain requirements-to-test-case traceability.\n\nReview test cases and ensure adequate coverage.\n\nTest Execution\nExecute functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing.\n\nPerform cloud-to-device and device-to-cloud testing.\n\nTest networking devices together with cloud services and applications.\n\nValidate APIs, backend services, database state and UI behavior as part of end-to-end workflows.\n\nPerform interoperability and compatibility testing.\n\nExecute testing across different network configurations and connectivity conditions.\n\nAnalyze failures across device, network, cloud and application layers.\n\nAPI & Cloud Testing\nStrong hands-on experience with REST API testing and automation.\n\nValidate API request/response, authentication, authorization and business logic.\n\nTest APIs used for device provisioning, configuration, monitoring and management.\n\nValidate data consistency between APIs, cloud services, database and UI.\n\nTest asynchronous workflows, events, notifications and service-to-service communication.\n\nTest AWS-hosted cloud applications and services.\n\nValidate cloud services, microservices and distributed workflows.\n\nAnalyze cloud logs, metrics, traces and application telemetry.\n\nTest reliability, availability, scalability and failure/recovery scenarios.\n\nValidate deployments across QA, staging and production environments.\n\nNetworking Expertise\nStrong hands-on knowledge of networking is essential.\nExperience with:\nTCP/IP\n\nIPv4 / frameworks, libraries and utilities.\n\nAutomate device onboarding, configuration, monitoring and management scenarios.\n\nBuild regression automation for high-value customer workflows.\n\nIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAnalyze automation failures and improve framework reliability.\n\nTypeScript / Playwright\nExperience with TypeScript/JavaScript for test automation.\n\nHands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium or equivalent.\n\nAutomate cloud-based web applications and network management workflows.\n\nDevelop end-to-end UI + API automation.\n\nBuild reusable automation components and utilities.\n\nMaintain scalable and reliable regression suites.\n\nDefect Management & Root Cause Analysis\nOwn defects from identification through closure.\n\nCreate detailed defects with reproduction steps, logs, API traces, screenshots and packet captures where applicable.\n\nParticipate in defect triage and prioritization.\n\nCollaborate with development, cloud, firmware and networking teams.\n\nPerform defect retesting and regression validation.\n\nDrive root-cause analysis for complex issues.\n\nIdentify recurring defect patterns and recommend preventive actions.\n\nEnsure critical and customer-impacting issues are addressed before release.\n\nRelease & Production Quality\nPrepare test execution reports, defect summaries and release-quality metrics.\n\nProvide QA recommendation/release sign-off based on defined quality criteria.\n\nPerform production smoke testing and post-deployment validation.\n\nValidate critical network management
