We're looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 & Identity Engineer, to own our Microsoft 365, identity and device management platforms globally. This role reports to the Director, Cloud and Enablement, and sits within NETGEAR’s global IT team.\nThis is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role with global scope. You'll drive M365 and Entra ID projects, act as the technical authority for the platform, and mentor peers across IT. You'll keep identity and devices secure, improve the experience for users across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, and work closely with Microsoft and teams across NETGEAR. It's a high-ownership role on a global team.\nKey responsibilities\nOwn the architecture and administration of Microsoft 365 end to end, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Apps and Intune, from governance through to user experience.\n\nAct as the technical authority for identity and access across Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity, SSO, conditional access, MFA and the joiner, mover and leaver lifecycle.\n\nOwn device management and servicing for Windows, mobile and Microsoft 365 Apps, with a focus on reliability and minimal user disruption.\n\nStrengthen our security and compliance posture across identity, access, data and devices, in partnership with Corporate Security.\n\nRationalise overlapping tools and adopt native Microsoft 365 capabilities where it makes sense, optimising licensing and cost.\n\nAutomate administration and reporting using PowerShell.\n\nManage the strategic technical relationship with Microsoft, making full use of available programs, assessments and expertise.\n\nPartner with Corporate Security, Engineering and IT teams globally, and maintain clear documentation and standards.\n\nRequired qualifications\n5+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.\n\nExpertise in Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity, conditional access and MFA.\n\nHands-on experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.\n\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nBachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nPreferred qualifications\nMicrosoft certifications, for example MS-102, SC-300 or MD-102.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Defender, Purview or Microsoft Graph.\n\nExperience in a global technology company supporting a global user base across time zones.\n\nExperience working directly with Microsoft account, support or partner teams.\n\nEligibility to live and work in Ireland is required.
