Associate Technical Program Manager (Product Development)

Experience: 3 to 6 Years

Summary

As an Associate Technical Program Manager, you will support the end-to-end development of electronic products from concept to launch. Working closely with hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, quality, operations, and sourcing teams, you will help drive program execution, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure successful product delivery within cost, quality, and schedule targets.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product development programs across hardware, software/firmware, and mechanical engineering.
• Track program schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.
• Coordinate development phases including prototyping, EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp-up.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Assist with product integration, validation, certification, and compliance activities.
• Support DFM/DFA/DFT reviews, BOM maturity tracking, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor program health through dashboards, reports, and stakeholder updates.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and milestone reviews to ensure timely execution.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and execution challenges proactively.

Requirements & Skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Product Development.
• Exposure to electronic, embedded, IoT, automotive, or hardware product development environments.
• Understanding of hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with EVT, DVT, PVT, prototyping, validation, and product launch processes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and project management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Experience working on commercial electronic products from development to launch.
• Familiarity with NPI, manufacturing processes, and contract manufacturers.
• Exposure to cloud-connected devices or IoT platforms is an advantage.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and SQL.
• PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Self-driven with strong ownership and execution mindset.
