Founded in 2015, Netradyne is headquartered in San Diego with offices in San Francisco, Nashville, the UK and Bangalore.\nFor more details visit: www.netradyne.com\nJob Overview: As a Senior component Engineer at Netradyne, you will lead and manage electronic component selection, qualification, lifecycle management, and technical support for electronic hardware designs.\nYou will work closely with hardware design, sourcing, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure component reliability, availability, compliance, and cost optimization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIdentifying, assessing and evaluate all types of electronic components (ICs, Connectors, memory, Crystal ,oscillators and discretes ).\nIdentify and recommend second-source and alternate components with Form, Fit and Function to mitigate supply-chain risks.\nReview Bill of Materials (BOMs), datasheets, and component specifications and schematics.\nProactively collect, Analyse and manage component obsolescence, End-of-Life (EOL) notifications, and Product Change Notifications (PCNs) from Manufactures and other sources.\nCoordinate with suppliers and distributors for technical specifications, samples, qualification reports, and failure analysis.\nEnsure component level compliance with RoHS, REACH, CMRT and applicable environmental and customer specific regulatory requirements.\nSupport and coordinate ECO/ECR/ECN process related to component changes.\nConduct component lifecycle analysis and maintain approved component lists (AMLs).\nCollaborate with hardware design, PCB design, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams.\nEvaluate component cost, quality, reliability, availability, and long-term supply risks.\nSupport root cause analysis (RCA) for electronic component failures and reliability issues.\n\nMandatory Skills:\nStrong knowledge of active and passive electronic components.\nAbility to interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, and electrical specifications.\nExperience with component selection, qualification, and alternate part assessment.\nKnowledge of component lifecycle management, obsolescence, and supplier change notifications.\nFamiliarity with component reliability, derating, and failure analysis.\nExperience with BOM management and engineering change management.\nUnderstanding electronic manufacturing processes, PCB assembly, SMT, and through-hole components.\nGood communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Tools and Knowledge:\nPLM systems such as ARAS Innovator, SAP, or Oracle.\nECAD tools such as Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.\nComponent databases and sourcing platforms such as Digikey, SiliconExpert, Octopart.\nExperience Requirements\n6+ years of experience in electronic component engineering, component qualification, or a related electronics engineering role.\nDemonstrated experience in component selection, lifecycle management, alternate sourcing, and technical problem-solving.\nExperience working with component manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.\nQualification:\nB.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nWe are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
