The ideal candidate will also have solid experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto network and security products. This role requires expert-level knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN, wireless networking, and advanced troubleshooting across complex hybrid environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork Architecture & Engineering\nDesign, deploy, and support advanced network solutions using Fortinet security and networking platforms (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, FortiSwitch, etc.).\nArchitect secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures across multi-site and hybrid environments.\nConfigure and manage firewalls, SD-WAN, IPS/IDS, VPN solutions, and segmentation strategies.\nImplement and optimize routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, static routing, VLANs, Layer 2/3 architectures).\nDeploy and manage wireless networks using Fortinet, Cisco, and/or Palo Alto wireless technologies.\nAdvanced Support & Escalations\nServe as Tier 1 to 3 escalation point for complex network issues across customer environments.\nTroubleshoot end-to-end connectivity, performance, security, and routing problems.\nPerform packet captures, flow analysis, and deep-dive diagnostics across multi-vendor platforms.\nSecurity & Compliance\nEnsure networks follow security best practices, including segmentation, hardening, and secure remote access.\nConfigure and maintain security profiles (web filtering, application control, AV, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection).\nAssist with compliance initiatives (PCI, HIPAA, SOC, etc.) as they relate to secure networking design.\nCustomer Engagement & Communication\nProvide written documentation, network diagrams, post-migration reports, and runbooks.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n2 to 5 years of experience in network engineering roles.\nDeep expertise in Fortinet platforms (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).\nStrong proficiency in networking: routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, SD-WAN, wireless, and network security.\nExperience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless solutions.\nExtensive hands-on experience with network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and packet-level analysis.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with C-suite executives.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced MSP environment supporting multiple customers and technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7).\nCisco certifications (CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, etc.).\nPalo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE).\nExperience with Fortinet SD-WAN architectures and zero-touch provisioning.\nUnderstanding of cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and integrations with firewalls.\nExperience in an MSP or consulting
