The role requires balanced judgment in determining when an agent or generative AI approach is appropriate, when conventional automation is a better fit, and how to design clear human escalation paths.\nThe ideal candidate combines hands-on engineering expertise with strong discovery, communication, and workshop facilitation skills. Success in this role means delivering production-grade agents with traceable grounding, secure integrations, observable behavior, and repeatable quality controls.\nHow You Will Make An Impact\nLead technical discovery sessions and translate business problems into prioritized, testable AI use cases and solution requirements.\nDesign and implement grounded AI assistants and agents using Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI/LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, tool calling, and REST APIs.\nBuild agent actions and integrations with enterprise systems, data sources, and Microsoft services using secure authentication and authorization patterns.\nDevelop retrieval, chunking, grounding, and evaluation approaches that improve relevance, accuracy, and traceability.\nEstablish evaluation datasets, task-success measures, safety checks, responsible AI controls, and prompt-injection defenses.\nImplement logging, tracing, monitoring, and structured troubleshooting for AI workflows and production incidents.\nPartner with Data, Microsoft 365 (M365), Power Platform, Full-Stack, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.\nFacilitate client workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical decision discussions; document architecture, assumptions, risks, and handoff guidance.\nSupport estimation, delivery planning, pre-sales solutioning, and mentoring where needed.\nWhat You Will Bring To The Table\nWe are looking for a professional who combines technical ownership with strong client partnership. Success in this role requires curiosity, accountability, practical judgment, and the ability to move work forward while keeping stakeholders informed.\nCommunicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, including during discovery, delivery updates, risk discussions, and project handoffs.\nTake ownership of outcomes, follow work through to completion, and escalate risks early with supporting evidence.\nUse documentation, experimentation, and collaboration to solve unfamiliar problems rather than waiting for step-by-step direction.\nAdapt to evolving technologies, priorities, and responsibilities while maintaining quality and security standards.\nContribute to a supportive engineering culture through peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and professional client interactions.\nQualifications\n3-5 years of relevant professional experience.\nPython expertise and hands-on integration experience with Azure AI Services, Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or comparable large language model (LLM) platforms.\nStrong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, agent/tool calling, REST APIs, and secure integration patterns.\nWorking knowledge of Entra ID/OAuth fundamentals, Git, AI evaluation methodologies, Responsible AI practices, and prompt-injection mitigation techniques.\nAbility to decompose ambiguous requirements, troubleshoot complex workflows, and explain technical trade-offs in clear business-friendly language.\nDemonstrated client-facing communication skills, stakeholder collaboration experience, and strong documentation and estimation capabilities.\nExperience with Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, or comparable orchestration frameworks.\nExperience with Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, SQL, SharePoint knowledge sources, Dataverse, and Power Automate.\nExperience with observability, tracing, and CI/CD practices for AI solutions.\nExposure to Fabric/OneLake, Document Intelligence, advanced retrieval and re-ranking techniques, fine-tuning, Salesforce/CRM integrations, LangChain, LangGraph, Claude, or AWS Bedrock.\nProduction-grade agents with measurable task success.\nTraceable grounding and secure enterprise integrations.\nRepeatable evaluation, safety, and monitoring controls.\nClear documentation, operational ownership, and human escalation paths.\nWork Schedule: This is a client-facing role. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, demonstrations, delivery reviews, and issue-resolution discussions during the assigned shift.\nStandard Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM India Standard Time (IST), equivalent to 2:30 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
