Data Analytics and Data Engineering Architect

Responsibilities:

• Data Manager who combines strong technical depth, solutioning mindset, stakeholder communication, and team leadership.
• This role is ideal for someone who can operate like a pre-sales consultant with delivery ownership.

Delivery Management:

• Own end-to-end execution of data programs from initiation to go- live.
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, budgets, dependencies, and quality.
• Ensure best practices in Agile / Scrum / Waterfall delivery models.
• Drive governance with weekly status reports, steering meetings, and escalations.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, BI Developers, Analysts, and Architects.
• Build strong delivery culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous learning.
• Conduct performance reviews, career growth planning, and hiring.
• Improve utilisation and resource planning across projects.

Technical Leadership:

• Guide teams on architecture, coding standards, reusability, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and performance optimisation.
• Review designs for Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, BI models, and reporting systems.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Interface with senior business stakeholders, delivery heads, and technical teams.
• Present status, risks, roadmap, and value realisation clearly.
• Handle challenging conversations with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Preferred Background Experience in IT Services / Consulting / GCC / Managed Services. Managed large enterprise customers.
• Experience in proposal creation and effort estimation.
• Exposure to multiple domains (Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, CPG, etc. ).
• Certifications in Cloud / Databricks / AI/ML.
• Education: Graduates only (please ignore pursuing/drop out/12th or 10th).
