The ideal candidate will help our sales efforts by offering expertise and technical knowledge on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).\nThis is a highly impactful role - You will have a compelling opportunity to impact the business and advance your career.\nResponsibilities include:\nObjective #1: exceed our sales targets.\nObjective #2: evangelize the DSPM product internally and externally\nArticulate the high-level benefits of Netskope's Data Protection solutions to our target audiences (typically senior security management up to CISO and CIO).\nConstruct best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises as well as overall win strategy.\nTake an active role in your regions customer success and help resolve any customer satisfaction issues, escalating cross functionally when needed.\nUnderstand the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that customer requirement and provides business value\nCreate and deliver product demonstrations\nGather customer technical requirements\nParticipate in trade shows as required\nProvide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them\nCreate evaluation test plans with customers and partners and managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion\nLead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)\nPresent at Conferences and Seminars\nRespond effectively to RFIs/RFPs\nJob Requirements:\n7+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a focus on Data Security Solutions with a proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level\nStrong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth.\nStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills ranging from tech level up to senior executives. Comfortable in public speaking and presenting to both internal and external executive audiences.\nAbility to scale from the whiteboard to working with security architects to influencing CISOs.\nLove and passion for helping customers and delivering satisfaction even when faced with difficult customers.\nDemonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration Linux, MacOS and Windows-based systems.\nExperience with Container and Serverless computing including Docker, Lambda, Kubernetes and AWS ECS. \nExperience with data protection strategies, both inline and out-of-band using technologies like CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), SWG (Secure Web Gateway), SSE (Secure Services Edge) and SASE (Secure Access Services Edge) \nExperience working with Cloud Identity Providers like OKTA, Ping and Azure and also on-prem solutions like Active Directory (AD) \nExperience working with Public cloud environments (AWS, Azure and GCP) \nUnderstanding of different Data Access Control strategies, Compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).\nTechnical expertise in data discovery and protection, including Regular Expressions (Regex), Exact Data Matching (EDM) and Dictionaries\nTechnical expertise in Data Systems like MongoDB, SQL, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3 and Azure Blob, etc.\nDemonstrated understanding of data pipeline solutions such as Snowflake and Databricks.\nAvailability for occasional customer meetings within region\nExperience working in and selling cloud-based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS). \nUnderstanding and hands-on experience utilizing and tuning AI LLMs, MCP servers, and AI agents.\nDesire:\nDemonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Python, and REST API framework.\nPrior experience with other vendor Cloud Security solutions is advantageous.\nStrong security skills that would include hands-on experience with Bluecoat, Symantec, McAfee, Cyera, Zscaler, Security, BigID, Varonis along with other appropriate certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE) \nCloud Architecture Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Professional and Azure Solutions Architect Expert. \nAgile Scrum Certification: CSPO, CSM, or CSP | Project Management Certification: PMP\nEducation\nRelevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related degrees\nCompensation: \nAt Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.\nThe successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. \nFor all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.\nIn addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program.
