This browser integrates advanced features that enhance both security and productivity in a corporate environment. Leveraging our Next Gen Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions, we bring these powerful capabilities directly to the browser, ensuring a seamless, secure, and controlled browsing experience-all within a single cloud platform. You'll play a critical role in modifying and extending Chromium modules to support the full suite of Netskope Enterprise Browser functionalities. Expect to work with cutting-edge technologies such as C++ and gRPC services, and to tackle complex challenges in distributed systems-ranging from performance optimization and scalability to high availability, containerization, and advanced analytics.\nWhat you will be doing\nModify and enhance the Chromium engine to support new features.\nUsing advanced data structures and algorithms in C++\nResearching optimization algorithms and improving performance\nSolving problems with quick and elegant solutions\nRequired skills and experience\n3+ years of experience in Chromium environments.\nStrong C++ design and software implementation skills.\nExcellent debugging, memory profiling and performance testing skills.\nExperience programming multi-threaded solutions and knowledge of synchronization techniques.\nGood understanding of memory management and runtime optimization.\nExperience developing complex products with many components.\nUnit testing knowledge, proponent of TDD is a big plus.\nThe ability to coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progression of team members.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.\nA can-do attitude and ability to roll up your sleeves and respond to the needs of customers proactively and promptly.\nEducation\nBSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred\nNetskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
