For example, analyze content in real-time to provide security and perform deep inspection of traffic in near real time\nDesign, architect and develop high performance, scalable cloud-based security systems to detect and mitigate threats on LLM APIs and Generative AI applications\nIntegrate with other features like DLP and Threat protection\nBuild sophisticated key management algorithms\nRequired skills and experience\n15+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years of experience building high-performance networking software and cloud services.\nExpertise in building high throughput and low latency data systems, such as networking from Layer 3 to Layer 7, web proxy, security, monitoring and observability, web and mobile applications, data processing, etc.\nExpertise in dealing with complex architectural problems across multiple products and at the same time handling design issues at module level.\nProgramming mastery in key programming languages (C/C++ or python), and ability to review code in these and other popular programming languages.\nAI-Assisted Workflow Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using advanced LLM-based coding agents in real engineering work.\nProven experience designing large-scale, secure and cloud-native systems\nStrong understanding of computer architecture - multi-threading, CPU scheduling, memory management with practical knowledge of Linux at system/kernel level\nHands-on experience handling complex and ambiguous customer issues. Persistence in accomplishing objectives despite uncertain situations, obstacles, and setbacks.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to position views and arguments appropriately to win support. The ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations in order to win concessions without damaging relationships, and to respond effectively to the reactions and positions of others.\nConfidence under pressure, a mature EQ, and the ability to show a high degree of self control while maintaining a positive attitude despite adversity.\nWillingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zones.\nThe ability to represent the company in appropriate external forums and industry events promoting thought technical leadership.\nAdditional Skill and Knowledge\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills using debuggers like gdb and tools like Valgrind\nProponent of TDD a big plus, knowledge of various unit testing frameworks\nExperience with threat detection, DLP, and security policy enforcement\nFamiliarity with the request/response schemas of major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), streaming formats, agentic protocols such as MCP and A2A, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.\nKnowledge of emerging GenAI and cloud service security challenges and best practices\nEducation\nBE Computer Science required or equivalent practical experience required; MS Computer Science strongly preferred\nNetskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
