The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise-level scheduling, complex project environments, and the ability to build scalable processes that support business growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nPMO Scheduling Center of Excellence\nEstablish and lead the PMO Scheduling Center of Excellence.\nDefine and maintain enterprise scheduling standards, methodologies, governance processes, and master project schedule templates.\nDevelop repeatable scheduling frameworks that support project delivery across multiple service lines.\nProject Planning and Forecasting\nPartner with Sales and Delivery teams to create customized project schedules that support realistic scope, cost, and timeline assumptions.\nImprove project forecasting, schedule accuracy, and portfolio visibility.\nEnsure project schedules account for dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and critical path activities.\nSupport portfolio-level planning and long-range capacity forecasting.\nGovernance and Compliance\nLead schedule audits across in-flight projects to evaluate compliance with PMO standards.\nIdentify schedule risks, planning gaps, and opportunities for corrective action.\nDevelop reporting that provides leadership with visibility into project performance and schedule health.\nPMO Capability Development\nDeliver training and coaching to project managers on scheduling best practices and project controls.\nServe as a trusted advisor to PMO leadership on scheduling strategy and process improvements.\nDrive adoption of PMI-aligned project management standards and methodologies.\nOperational Excellence and Technology\nCollaborate with Operations, Resource Management, and AI Automation teams to identify workflow efficiencies and automation opportunities.\nSupport accurate reporting for earned value, percent complete, critical path, resource constraints, and other project health indicators.\nEvaluate and recommend scheduling, project management, resource planning, and reporting tools that support future growth.\nHelp strengthen connectivity and data flow across Smartsheet, PSA, and centralized resource management processes.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification required\n10+ years of experience managing highly detailed and complex master project schedules within a PMO, MSP, professional services, consulting, technology, healthcare IT, or similar project-driven environment\nDeep expertise in enterprise project scheduling methodologies, project controls, and portfolio planning\nExperience developing and governing scheduling standards across multiple projects, programs, or portfolios\nStrong knowledge of PMI principles, earned value management, percent-complete tracking, critical path analysis, resource forecasting, dependency management, and schedule risk analysis\nProven success leading PMO governance, audit, compliance, or Center of Excellence initiatives\nExperience partnering with executive and cross-functional leaders to improve forecasting accuracy, project visibility, and operational performance\nStrong analytical, communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder management skills\nExperience using enterprise scheduling and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, PSA platforms, or comparable solutions.\nPreferred\nPMO, program management, enterprise scheduling, or project controls leadership experience\nExperience implementing or optimizing Professional Services Automation and resource management processes\nExperience evaluating and implementing project management technologies and reporting solutions\nExperience with AI-enabled workflow automation or digital transformation initiatives\nAdvanced experience building executive dashboards and project performance reporting frameworks.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nEnterprise-wide adoption of standardized scheduling methodologies and master project templates.\nImproved accuracy of project timeline, cost, and resource forecasts.\nIncreased PMO compliance through consistent project audits and governance processes.\nEnhanced leadership visibility through meaningful project health and performance reporting.\nScalable planning processes and technology recommendations that support continued growth.\nMeasurable improvement in project predictability, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.\nNetsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
