We support clinicians and care teams with tools for clinical documentation, quality reporting, interoperability, and regulatory compliance-helping them deliver better care to complex, high-acuity populations. Engineers on Gehrimed work on software that directly impacts patient care, provider workflows, and real-world healthcare outcomes.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDrive and contribute to the full software development lifecycle across large, complex initiatives\nDesign, build, and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions with a high degree of independence\nLead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions\nPartner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system performance and reliability\nCollaborate with and help guide onshore and offshore teams, ensuring alignment and delivery consistency\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers\nContribute to Agile ceremonies, project planning, and delivery execution using structured methodologies\nEstablish and track metrics, risks, and mitigation plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders\nParticipate in a rotational on-call schedule to support production systems as needed\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nStrong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, and SQL in an enterprise environment\nProven experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies\nDemonstrated ability to design and build complex systems with scalability and maintainability in mind\nExperience mentoring or leading other engineers in a team environment\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work within defined timelines\nPreferred\nExperience within healthcare, health and human services, or post-acute environments\nFamiliarity with Netsmart EHR solutions, including Gehrimed\nExperience working in distributed team environments (onshore/offshore collaboration)\nNetsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
