The company is headquartered in Austin, Texas with employees worldwide.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive quality engineering, test automation, and reliability across a fintech technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise, hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of API-driven, distributed, and cloud-native systems. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the quality, security, performance, and reliability of financial applications, payment workflows, and transaction-processing systems.\nResponsibilities\n· Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.\n· Develop automated test solutions using C#/.NET, Java, Python, or other suitable programming languages.\n· Build and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs, microservices, GraphQL, databases, and asynchronous workflows.\n· Validate financial transaction workflows, payment processing, transaction status updates, data integrity, and error-handling scenarios.\n· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and reliable releases.\n· Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, scalability, and reliability testing.\n· Design and execute load and stress tests to evaluate system behaviour under peak transaction volumes.\n· Investigate and troubleshoot complex defects across distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\n· Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and quality standards.\n· Develop reusable automation libraries, test utilities, service mocks, and test data management solutions.\n· Work with containerised applications and Kubernetes-based environments to validate service reliability and deployment quality.\n· Monitor test execution results, analyse failures, and provide actionable insights through test reports and quality metrics.\n· Test security-sensitive workflows, access controls, data validation, and negative scenarios.\n· Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to automation best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n· Own quality engineering activities from test planning and design through execution and release validation.\nRequired Skills\n· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience\n· 8+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality engineering, including substantial hands-on automation development.\n· Must have strong coding experience of Java/ groovy, Selenium and Database(relational) Unit Testing framework and performance testing.\n· Hands on experience in building testing framework(s) BDD Cucumber/TestNG\n· Must have hands on experience in Frontend automation using Selenium/appium or any other tool\n· Must have hands-on experience in Web Services Automation using Java/groovy.\n· Must have hands-on experience in Database testing. Well versed with writing complex SQL.\n· Must have knowledge of any build tool Gradle/Maven/ANT etc.\n· Must have good knowledge of CI/CD on Jenkins/ Gitlab\n· Experience with Agile Methodologies, Tools (JIRA, Confluence).\n· Must have hands-on knowledge in AI usage and AI tools.\n· Must have exposure to design custom automation framework\n· Must have exposure in Continuous Integration using Bamboo/Jenkins\n· Must have exposure of Agile Methodology\n· Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven workflows.\n· Good to have knowledge in performance & Security testing\n· Exposure of stored procedure and PL/SQL\n· Working knowledge of Unix commands\n· Good to have exposure in Mobile Automation using Appium/browserstack.\n· Exposure of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace etc.\n· Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills; attention to detail, thoroughness and strong ownership of work.\n· Strong expertise in API automation and REST API testing; familiarity with GraphQL is an advantage.\n· Experience in performance and scalability testing, including load generation, bottleneck identification, and system behaviour analysis.\n· Proficiency with Git-based workflows, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews.\n· Strong ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.\nPreferred Qualification\n· Experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, prepaid cards, or other financial technology platforms.\n· Familiarity with payment processing workflows, transaction lifecycle management, reconciliation, and financial data validation.\n· Knowledge of security testing principles, OWASP guidelines, authentication, authorisation, and secure API testing.\n· Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.\n· Familiarity with service virtualisation and mocking tools such as WireMock.\n· Experience with Helm, service mesh technologies, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\n· Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.\n· Experience with test reporting, quality metrics, and automation coverage analysis.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n· A quality-focused engineer who builds robust automation solutions rather than relying solely on manual testing.\n· A proactive problem-solver who identifies risks early and improves product reliability through effective test strategies.\n· An engineering professional who can troubleshoot complex technical issues across services and infrastructure.\n· Someone who values clean code, reusable frameworks, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nNote: This position is based out of Noida, Uttar Pradesh (India).
