This role requires deep expertise across Azure infrastructure, networking, databases, security, automation and application architecture.\nYou will also champion DevOps and DevSecOps practices, contribute to data engineering initiatives and explore how AI can improve operational efficiency within Azure environments.\nKey responsibilities\nAzure architecture and infrastructure\nArchitect secure, scalable and highly available Azure environments across compute, storage, networking and database services.\nDesign Azure networking solutions that support high availability and disaster recovery.\nInterpret existing solution architectures and recommend improvements to reliability, recoverability, monitoring, security and cost efficiency.\nAdvise development teams on the most suitable Azure technologies for application performance, scalability and resilience.\nSupport hybrid-cloud integrations between Azure and on-premises environments.\nTroubleshoot complex Azure networking configurations, including VPNs, DNS, load balancers and firewalls.\nSecurity and compliance\nDevelop and enforce cloud security and compliance policies.\nImplement security controls using Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related Azure security services.\nCollaborate with security teams to identify, manage and mitigate cloud risks.\nApply data governance and lifecycle-management principles to Azure solutions.\nDevelop controls to secure AI agents operating within client environments.\nDevOps and automation\nAutomate the deployment, scaling and management of Azure resources.\nImplement infrastructure as code using Bicep and ARM templates, with Terraform experience advantageous.\nChampion DevOps and DevSecOps practices across client and project environments.\nUse PowerShell, Python or similar scripting languages to automate infrastructure and operational tasks.\nData and AI\nProvide technical guidance on databases, data warehousing and data engineering initiatives.\nWork with Azure data technologies such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB and Microsoft Fabric.\nExplore and implement AI-driven automation for operational tasks.\nConsulting and leadership\nLead client workshops and project meetings to gather requirements and drive implementations.\nTranslate complex technical requirements into clear, stakeholder-friendly recommendations.\nMentor junior team members on Azure technologies and cloud best practices.\nMaintain accurate technical and environmental documentation.\nSupport presales activities, including solution design, cost estimation, competitive analysis and client demonstrations.\nMinimum requirements\nAt least 7 years' experience implementing or administering Microsoft technologies.\nAt least 3 years' hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Azure solutions across multiple resource types beyond virtual machines.\nDemonstrated experience designing and implementing secure, scalable Azure environments.\nStrong infrastructure, networking and database expertise.\nAdvanced knowledge of Azure application architecture and service dependencies.\nExperience with Azure networking, high availability and disaster-recovery solutions.\nPractical experience with Azure DevOps, automation and DevSecOps methodologies.\nExperience using Bicep and ARM templates for Azure deployments.\nStrong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or a similar language.\nExperience working with hybrid-cloud environments and on-premises integrations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong client-facing consulting, workshop facilitation and presentation experience.\nRequired Azure certifications\nApplicants must hold the following certifications:\nAZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate\nAZ-305: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert\nAdvantageous certifications\nAZ-204: Microsoft Azure Developer Associate\nAZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions\nAZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate\nAZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions\nAI-102: Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution\nDP-100: Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate\nDP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure\nDP-600: Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric\nSC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect\nSC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate\nSC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator\nSC-400: Microsoft Information Protection and Compliance Administrator\nA diploma or degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science or a related field would be advantageous.\nIf you are an experienced Azure consultant who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, advising clients and building secure, future-ready cloud environments, we would like to hear from you.\nArtificial Intelligence Innovation:\nJoin Netsurit at the forefront of AI transformation-where technology meets ambition.
