This role serves as a structured career development path for individuals seeking to build the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities required to successfully perform as a Project Manager.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist the Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the planning and execution of assigned scope of work on projects.\nReview project scope, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements to support project execution.\nSupport multiple projects concurrently while maintaining organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.\nParticipate in internal and external project status meetings and vendor coordination meetings.\nCollaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project success.\nAssist with coordination of travel for the field team.\nMaintain project documentation including procurement log, RFIs, submittals, change orders log, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.\nCompile, update, and maintain project reports, trackers, financial logs, and action item registers.\nSupport project financial management through tracking project costs, assisting with billing documentation, and maintaining financial and operational reporting tools.\nMonitor project progress and assist with schedule adherence and look ahead schedule creation.\nRequest quotes from vendors and create purchase orders.\nMaintain a project procurement log with material lead times, coordinate delivery schedules, delivery receipts, and fulfillment of items.\nEscalate potential delays in material or schedule.\nProvide responsive support to customers, field team, and project stakeholders to address project needs and urgent issues.\nConduct site visits to verify project progress, quality standards, and compliance with customer and company requirements.\nApply critical thinking and sound judgment to evaluate challenges, identify risks, and recommend solutions that proactively address unique situations and support project success.\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations and project success.\nTravel to project sites as needed. Travel is expected to be approximately 25%; however, actual travel requirements may vary based on project demands, customer needs, and business priorities.\nQualifications & Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred\nRelevant construction, telecommunications, or data center project management experience may substitute for formal education\nPMP or equivalent certification preferred\nMinimum of one year managing data center construction preferred\nBasic understanding of telecommunications systems\nFamiliarity with materials and equipment used in data center construction\nKnowledge of construction practices and safety standards\nSelf-starter with a proactive approach and strong work ethic\nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills\nAbility to anticipate challenges and proactively develop solutions\nBasic ability to estimate labor effort and material requirements\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nStrong customer-service focus\nProficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Bluebeam\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation\nStrong verbal communication skills\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nRegularly required to sit, communicate, and use computers and other office equipment\nOccasionally required to stand, walk, reach, and bend\nAbility to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds\nWork may be performed in an office, remotely, or in a warehouse, yard, or field environment\nOccasional travel to company or vendor locations may be required\nReasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\n\nThis position may require occasional travel to company locations, vendor sites, job sites, or other business-related locations as needed.
