This position maintains driver qualification records, monitors driver eligibility, supports regulatory audits, and helps ensure employees operating company vehicles meet company and regulatory requirements.\nThe role also provides secondary support for fleet asset administration, including vehicle records, registrations, assignments, fuel cards, telematics, and vehicle onboarding. The position works closely with Fleet, Human Resources, Recruiting, Safety, Operations, managers, and drivers.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDOT and Driver Compliance\nMaintain Driver Qualification Files and required driver documentation.\nMonitor Motor Vehicle Records, driver licenses, endorsements, restrictions, medical certificates, and expiration dates.\nAdminister DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements, including Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse processes.\nSupport driver eligibility reviews, classifications, onboarding, audits, and corrective actions.\nAdminister Hours of Service and Electronic Logging Device compliance.\nMonitor driver safety information and communicate compliance deficiencies to employees and managers.\nMaintain accurate compliance records and support regulatory inspections and audits.\nAssist with driver training, safety communications, incident response, and retraining.\nCoordinate compliance matters with Human Resources, Recruiting, Safety, Operations, and field leadership.\nFleet Systems and Reporting\nMaintain accurate driver and compliance data within fleet and telematics systems.\nMonitor compliance reporting and prepare audits, trackers, scorecards, and management reports.\nSupport Samsara, Geotab, Samba Safety, ELD, and other fleet compliance platforms.\nAssist with data validation, system updates, and process improvements.\nSecondary Fleet Asset Support\nMaintain vehicle records, registrations, titles, insurance documentation, and assignments.\nSupport vehicle onboarding, transfers, deliveries, and decommissioning.\nAssist with fuel card administration, annual inspections, telematics installations, and fleet documentation.\nCoordinate with drivers, managers, vendors, dealerships, and transportation providers.\nProvide backup support to the Fleet Asset Manager and assist with other fleet projects as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in DOT compliance, driver administration, transportation safety, fleet operations, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements.\nStrong organizational, recordkeeping, communication, and follow-up skills.\nAbility to manage confidential information and work across multiple departments.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using fleet, telematics, compliance, or transportation systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree or other post-high school education or professional training.\nExperience with Driver Qualification Files, Motor Vehicle Record monitoring, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements, Hours of Service, or Electronic Logging Devices.\nExperience with Samsara, Geotab, Samba Safety, or similar platforms.\nCommercial Driver’s License is a plus.\nKey Success Factors\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nConsistent follow-through on
