Primary Duties: The position is responsible for the strategic planning, design, and development of advancedtelecommunications solutions, including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), radiofrequency (RF) engineering, and in-building wireless systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership for wireless network architecture development
- RF system design, propagation modeling, interference analysis, capacity modeling, and performance optimization
- Technical evaluation of wireless technologies
- Engineering oversight
- Standards development
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, carriers, original equipmentmanufacturers, and third-party vendors.
Minimum Requirements
The position requires:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience in RF engineering and DAS solution development.
Special Skills
Qualified candidates must possess knowledge and experience in:
- In-building wireless systems
- Small cell technologies
- Fiber infrastructure
- RF propagation principles
- RF planning and modeling tools, including iBwave, Atoll or equivalent platforms
