If you enjoy coding, problem-solving and making software better, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop and maintain reusable automated testing frameworks for mobile applications.\nCreate and execute automated functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests across iOS and Android.\nTest applications on physical devices, emulators and simulators across different operating systems and screen sizes.\nAutomate API tests and validate communication between mobile applications and backend services.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and use source-control tools such as Git.\nInvestigate test failures, analyse logs, identify defects and work with developers to resolve issues.\nSupport exploratory testing and help improve overall software quality and release confidence.\nJob Experience and Skills Required\n\nA qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is advantageous.\nStrong experience in software test automation or SDET roles, including building and maintaining automation frameworks.\nHands-on experience testing and automating native mobile applications across both iOS and Android.\nProgramming proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, Kotlin or Swift.\nExperience with API testing, REST APIs, JSON, Git and CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of mobile testing challenges, including device compatibility, permissions, notifications, offline behaviour and application lifecycle scenarios.\nExperience with tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Maestro, WebdriverIO or Detox will be advantageous.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams is beneficial.
