This role is suited to a hands-on engineer with extensive project execution experience and a strong understanding of mineral processing plant equipment.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage mechanical engineering projects throughout the full project lifecycle.\n\nCoordinate design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.\n\nDevelop and review technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation.\n\nManage contractors, suppliers, and site-based activities.\n\nMonitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.\n\nIdentify and mitigate project risks.\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.\n\nLiaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\n\nProvide technical support during plant commissioning and start-up.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nBEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering.\n\nMinimum 5 years' project engineering experience within mining, mineral processing, EPC, EPCM, or heavy industrial environments.\n\nProven experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning.\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical plant equipment and associated systems.\n\nExcellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to site when required.\n\nPreferred Requirements\n\nPrEng registration with ECSA.\n\nExperience within mineral processing plants.\n\nExposure to CAPEX, brownfield, and greenfield projects.\n\nExperience with pumps, conveyors, crushers, piping, tanks, and bulk materials handling systems.\n\nProject Management qualification
