Accountant

• B.Com degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience managing the full accounting function, from transactional processing through to financial reporting.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, mining, or FMCG is preferred.
• Proficiency in an ERP system; Syspro experience will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate and complete financial records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations, including balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow monitoring.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

• Strong financial and analytical acumen.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
