This role bridges the gap between sales and project delivery, requiring the successful candidate to develop compliant, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions for mining, minerals processing, petrochemical, power generation, and critical facility projects. \nYou will be responsible for proposal development, system design, estimating, engineering support, commissioning assistance, and technical guidance while working with globally recognised fire and gas detection platforms.\nEducation:\nNational Diploma, BTech, or BEng in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.\nSAQCC Fire Registration at Designer level in both Fire Detection and Gas Suppression. \nJob Experience & Skills Required:Minimum 4 years' experience designing and estimating fire detection and gaseous suppression systems.\nStrong knowledge of SANS 10139, SANS 14520 / ISO 14520, SANS 306-4, and relevant fire protection standards.\nExperience performing hydraulic calculations using approved suppression design software.\nProficiency in AutoCAD and technical design documentation.\nAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, tender documents, and scopes of work.\nExperience with fire detection, alarm, and suppression system design and commissioning support.\nExposure to hazardous area requirements and Ex equipment selection advantageous.\nExperience in mining, petrochemical, power generation, data centre, or industrial projects preferred.\nValid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.\nApply now!\nFor more engineering jobs, please visit: www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com\nIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
