Tech stack of Network Finance

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth across a range of specialised electrical engineering services.

You will engage with key decision-makers within mining operations, manufacturing facilities, utilities, data centres, industrial plants, and engineering contractors to promote service offerings and secure long-term contracts. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage existing industry relationships while actively developing new opportunities within the market.

Education:

  • National Diploma, BTech, or Degree in Electrical Engineering advantageous
  • Business or Sales qualification advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven business development experience within the electrical engineering sector
  • Strong network within mining, manufacturing, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure environments
  • Demonstrated success in securing new business and growing client portfolios
  • Experience selling technical engineering services rather than products
  • Knowledge of MV and LV electrical infrastructure advantageous
  • Experience with tender processes and contract negotiations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into revenue-generating contracts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
